Available in multiple formats, the MIG-23M and F models were codenamed Flogger-B by NATO. The MiG-23 Flogger, developed in the 1960s, was a groundbreaking fighter aircraft with enhanced payload, range, firepower, and advanced sensors. It served as the primary aggressor aircraft for the Soviet Air Force from the late '70s to the late '80s but has since been phased out of front-line service and now primarily equips reserve and training units. Despite this, MiG-23 fighters remain operational in export countries.
