The MiG-17F, renowned from the Vietnam War, was the primary enemy aircraft confronting U.S. planes like A-4, A-7, F-8, B-52, F-100, and F-105, especially its adversary, the F-4 Phantom II. In 1960, around 50 North Vietnamese pilots began training in China on MiG-17s, with the first group of trained pilots returning to North Vietnam and converting at Son Dong Air Force base. The tightest-turning fighter globally during the Vietnam War and until the F-17's introduction, it had an afterburner VK-1F engine when produced in the 1950s. The MiG-17F could carry bombs, rockets, or fuel tanks under its wings. It served from March 1960 to May 1990. This model features a detailed design with 50,073 polygons, including components such as landing gear, canopy, wing flaps and elevators, rudder, seat, flight stick and pedals, air brakes, FOD covers, K17 Atoll missiles, and a ladder.
