This part replaces the original slide valve wich is prone to breaking. Instead of buying the whole thing, you can get going with this. Please mind the instructions at the print settings section! Print Settings Printer Brand: Creality Printer: Ender 3 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 25 Filament: Kaisertech PLA Black Notes: Post processing requires using PLA, because heat is used to fit the part into position, the handle itself is made from ABS, so you have to use PLA because of its lower melting point. Print in upright position to get the profile right. A brim seems to be mandatory, in order to secure the print from tipping over. Post-Printing The thing doesnt fit! I know, its on purpose, i made it a really tight fit. Clean the part with a file and knife to free it from any imperfections and the support material. Slide the valve about half way on the handle, take a soft hammer and gently force it into position. Take a hairdryer and gently heat it up until it begins to get soft - let it cool down after and try if it moves tight but not too tight. repeat until it reaches the desired degree of friction.
