Midi Neutrik - Patch panel insert (parts from Thomann)
thingiverse
I won't invest in an expensive MIDI patch field, so I sourced these components from Thomann and assembled one myself. Patch Panel: https://www.thomann.de/de/adam_hall_rackblende_neutrik.htm DIN Expansion: https://www.thomann.de/de/the_sssnake_1871_adapter.htm M3 screws fit perfectly. For a snug fit, apply gentle pressure when measuring the holes. Be cautious to avoid damaging the components. To ensure a smooth, perfect circle, print the part with the large hole facing upwards. The assembly process involves these steps: 1. Insert the side screws and slide in the DIN expansion through the hole. 2. Secure it from both sides, tightening the screws incrementally to maintain alignment within the hole. 3. Slide it into place from the side and secure it initially using the front screws. 4. Finish by securing it on the backside with the final screw. For optimal results, print this part with a 25% infill and a perimeter setting of 3.
