It highlights the exact location of the Equator, from which the country takes its name. The 30-meter-tall monument was constructed between 1979 and 1982. It also contains the Ethnographic Museum Middle of the Earth, a museum about the indigenous people of Ecuador (From Wikipedia).This model is originally the work of TAICED 3D, who kindly shared it to become part of MiniWorld3D's catalog and represent Ecuador!
