Midcentury writing desks
thingiverse
Just some desk studies I designed looking for the perfect desk for my home office. Probably going to build one of them out of wood sooner or later. The issue I have with most of the recent factory made writing desks is that they're designed to be put against a wall and thereby waste space. I remember my uncle having a desk standing in the middle of his office, where at the back there was a bookshelf in the space you wouldn't use to put your legs anyway. That's how I started looking around for midcentury furniture, which in most cases unfortunately is completely unaffordable to me. The spaces are meant to be used for either drawers, cabinet doors or those wooden jalousie thingies I don't know the name of.
