Human: A one-piece base for a desktop/table lamp that captures the essence of midcentury fixtures. Complete the lamp with:\r\n\r\n* A threaded E26 socket, such as [this](https://amzn.to/2rMT90V) or [this](https://amzn.to/2L2tlGM), designed to hold your chosen bulb.\r\n* A 4" diameter by 8" long "hurricane" glass tube, like the one pictured at [Blooms and Branches](http://www.bloomsandbranches.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=BBCYTUBE04108) or available on Amazon as [this](https://amzn.to/2Il8CjU).\r\n* Any E26 bulb you prefer, such as the one pictured at [Amazon](https://amzn.to/2rHXvau), a standard Edison bulb from [Amazon](https://amzn.to/2IP2sHY), or an LED Edison bulb also available on Amazon at [this link](https://amzn.to/2IpnqK4).\r\n* Optional: add a dimmer switch, like the one found at [Amazon](https://amzn.to/2Ku5y1v), for non-grounded plugs and traditional filament bulbs - note that these are a bit too bright for accent use.\r\n\r\nPrint upside down with supports for the connecting arms between the outer legs and central threaded column.\r\n\r\nThe original OpenSCAD file is included for adjustments as needed, particularly for the glass tube diameter or socket length. Requires [dkprojects' thread generator](http://dkprojects.net/openscad-threads/) (save as `threads.scad` in the same directory as the lamp source file).
