Mid-century modern clock that can be printed as a wall-mount or free-standing unit. Numbers and main piece(s) were printed using wood PLA and then stained with a walnut-colored wood stain. The hands were printed in PLA and then coated with chrome spray paint. There are three configurations depending on needs and style. Parts to be printed as follows: Wall Mount (print (1) of each): wall_mount.stl minute_hand.stl hour_hand.stl 3.stl 9.stl Freestanding with one-piece base (print (1) of each): freestanding_full.stl minute_hand.stl hour_hand.stl 3.stl 9.stl Freestanding with two-piece base (print (1) of each): base_face.stl base_foot.stl minute_hand.stl hour_hand.stl 3.stl 9.stl After printing and cleaning up all parts, sand the "wood" pieces to desired finish and stain to color of choice. The hands and thru-hole in the clock will likely need to be drilled out to match the corresponding mating parts on the clock mechanism. The hands can then be spray painted with a metallic spray paint. If working with the two-piece base, glue the two pieces together before staining. The numerals will also need to be glued into place. Mount the clock mechanism to the clock using the included hardware. This is the mechanism I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AG272IE Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Mk2Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: YesResolution: .3mm layer height Infill: 30% Notes: Depending how the parts are printed, you may need to use supports.
