I'm crafting a pair of mic clips for a friend, one designed specifically for holding an M160 and M130 extremely close together for mid-side recording. The other clip is intended to add an AKG 451 as the mid element, providing more versatile options. We experimented and discovered that it's actually more effective to make them thinner, then place one on each end for added stability.
