Mid-Century Modern Christmas Ornament
thingiverse
**A 3D take on two classic mid-century modern ornament shapes.** These started life as kit cards for my nieces (thank you [Pete/Nakozen](https://www.thingiverse.com/nakozen/designs) for some great tips on how to get started) but with only two sizable elements there was no real need to keep the pieces together so I’ve set aside the kit card for another time. *Assembly* There are two versions, both containing outer and inner flat pieces. The inner insert piece clips into the outer piece at the base of the ornament and then simply slides into the slot at the top to keep it in place. *Optional Features* I’ve also designed the ornaments to hold charms (there is a very small loop at the top of the inner insert piece) but you can leave them plain and utterly charmless too (haha). Either way, hope you enjoy the simplicity of these ornaments. I'd love to see your makes so please upload your photos if you do print them. I’m keen to see how other people use them (and also how much nicer they might look using a better printer than my little monoprice mini). ************************************* _A new learner in the world of 3D printing so figuring it out as I go along._
