The Ashetu, a hat worn with prestige by Bamun and Bamileke leaders, originates from the Cameroon Grasslands. Crafted from crocheted cotton, it features wooden burls that mirror the tufted hairstyles of elite members in Cameroon's tribes. A high-resolution 3D model was created using photogrammetry techniques based on collections at Cornell University's Johnson Museum.
