Microwave Door Release Button
thingiverse
This is the door release button for a Panasonic NNSD277B/W microwave. I purchased this appliance about two years ago, but both retention tabs of the original button have failed since then. Thus, I ordered a replacement part, which also seems to be faulty as one tab has already broken off and the other is likely to follow soon. To avoid losing the tabs inside the microwave, I used FreeCAD to reverse engineer the part and share it here in case I need to print another copy. Panasonic should take responsibility for their poor design and overpriced replacement parts. Here's the 3D printing instruction for this door release button: 1. Ensure your 3D printer is set up correctly and calibrated properly. 2. Download the 3D model of the door release button from the shared link above. 3. Prepare your filament material in the desired color. 4. Load the 3D model into your slicing software and adjust settings for optimal print quality, such as layer height, infill density, and printing speed. 5. Send the file to your 3D printer and wait for it to complete the print job. 6. Remove the printed part from the printer bed carefully. 7. Install the new door release button on your Panasonic NNSD277B/W microwave, ensuring that it fits properly and functions correctly.
