MicroSwiss Bowden tube cutter

cults3d

This is a MicroSwiss Bowden tube cutter for the lower half tube that goes into the hot end. Fits Ender 5 and should be the same for all versions of ender machines. Cuts precisely the 60-degree angle and length. The original cut Bowden tube that come with the Microswiss setup is too short, and if you print TPU, it will tend to pop out of the side of the gears where the lower tube meets. This jig cuts it a bit longer so it almost touches the bottom of the extruder gear and does not leave a gap for the filament to pop out. loosen screws a bit, slide the tube in, and tighten. just tighten enough to hold the tube in place. Once tight, use a standard razor knife blade and insert it into each of the 3 slots. once done, loosen screws and remove cut to length tube. Hardware needed.......(4) 3mm X 10mm long screws and nuts along with a standard razor knife blade.
