Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Wall Mount

Update: 09/05/2016: A second anchor point is now securely fastened to the bottom of the bracket, ensuring a tight seal against the wall. The mounting process relies heavily on how it's screwed in and whether the wall is perfectly flush; if not, the bottom may start pulling up as seen in one of the original images. This innovative wall mount design caters specifically to Microsoft Surface Pro 3 users who require a seamless docking experience while keeping their device safely inside its UAG case. The attached Microsoft keyboard cover poses no hindrance to placing the Surface within the dock, as evident from the accompanying pictures. One minor consideration is necessary for those using this exact same UAG case: if you wish to utilize the dock station provided by Microsoft, you'll need to extend the charging port opening. Since the case's rubber material doesn't offer sufficient clearance, I employed an Exact-o knife to trim away excess material and achieve the ideal size. For users without the extended charging port, simply using the regular charger turned upside down will still enable successful charging of the Surface Pro 3. Post-Printing Considerations: A special note is in order: utilize drywall anchors to prevent the weight from causing the Surface to fall off the wall. Design Philosophy: This design was carefully measured with a caliper, focusing on the highest point of the case's corners to ensure optimal alignment and stability.
