The USB, micro USB, and mini display port simply snap into place without any effort required. Figuring out their exact positions took some time with a digital caliper. The clearance between the dock and the tablet frame is 0.3mm on every side, resulting in a remarkably tight fit. Mounting or unmounting the tablet from the dock requires approximately 1-2 kilograms of force, which may seem considerable but also allows for horizontal as well as vertical mounting.
