Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 Button Cover
thingiverse
One of the most frustrating issues at my workplace with the Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 headset is accidentally triggering the mute button and not even realizing it's on. Nothing beats the embarrassment of speaking for a minute, only to have coworkers remind me "Your mute button is on!" This small design flaw can be easily fixed by attaching this button cover to the switch assembly. It prevents accidental presses when dragged or bumped, yet still allows full access to the buttons and their corresponding LED indicators. Note: Unfortunately, this fix won't work for headsets with a central round button. I've successfully printed this cover in both ABS and PETG using a 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.2 mm layer height. The only support required is for the snap tab's hook feature.
