I use a webcam to monitor my prints, and needed a reliable way to mount the camera to my Replicator 2. Derived from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:159602, this mount does not hinge, but stays stationary so it fits the Replicator 2 (since the 2x apparently has a hinged door to keep the ABS fumes inside). Two versions are included, one fixed angle (8° downward angle) and a variable angle version, which utilizes a bolt with a nut to fix at angles from 0° to about 35°. A time lapse from the fixed angle version, printing the variable angle one: http://youtu.be/DCiUn1WDmGo Instructions Print and mount on your Replicator 2. When printing in PLA on standard settings on a Replicator 2, the variable angle version is VERY tight (I needed to chisel the slider apart to make it turn). A new version will follow with slightly looser tolerance. UPDATE: I removed the too tight version, and uploaded a new one where the walls has been moved 0.1mm... UPDATE 2: Damn Thingiverse, does not let me upload at the moment. Files for the variable angle version will be coming back shortly. Sorry! Update 3: Apparantly uploads in Safari is broken at the moment. Files uploaded from Firefox went straight through...
