I've been tinkering with a surveillance system centered around a Raspberry Pi, primarily to keep an eye on our workplace - a high-fire tower standing at approximately 100 feet tall. I decided to modify an HD3000 Lifecam to fulfill this purpose and then encased the circuit board in epoxy resin to ensure water resistance. This adaptation allows for a certain level of movement while attached via a magnet, ensuring it remains inconspicuous yet still captures all necessary footage. Attached is a photo showing off my handiwork. Moreover, I will be uploading instructions on how to create adapter shims that fit the Raspberry Pi into custom Tupperware clones.
