I am excited to share my latest project, a microscope support conversion from a cheap universal drill press that has been in the works for the past week. The microscope's height is easily adjustable using a threaded rod, powered by a reliable Nema17 stepper motor. A compact Arduino mini pro controls the stepper motor with precision, and a limit switch ensures the motor stops at the end of its travel. In my next update, I will provide an in-depth electronic explanation along with a detailed Bill of Materials (BoM) for those interested in replicating this project.
