An enhanced support system for popular and budget-friendly USB microscopes like the Jiusion 1000x series is now available. The existing clamp included in the kit is quite flexible, making it difficult to achieve focus. This upgrade employs a straightforward technique to stabilize the microscope: by tightening the clamp using the same screw mechanism that secures its position (angle). A printed PETG solution can be used as an alternative option. Please note that one degree of freedom is lost with this modification; however, in practice, this rotation around Z was found to be redundant due to the existing stand's design.
