Microscope Smartphone Adapter (Customisable)

Here is a fully customisable OpenSCAD remake of the original Shanos' Universal Phone Microscope Adapter, designed to accommodate larger mobile devices. We increased the vertical and horizontal arm sizes to fit modern smartphones, which often come in bigger sizes. The breakaway inner ring allows for use with smaller or larger eyepieces. For extra grip on smaller eyepieces, we modified the inner part of the ring using a small amount of hot melt glue. The top section joins tightly with one 80mm M4 bolt and butterfly on each side, but two provide an even tighter fit. Washers distribute the force from the three sliding clamps evenly, while 30mm M4 bolts and butterflies secure them in place.
