This text focuses on the protection of microscope slide samples for storage or transport and the development of a prototype to achieve this. The first update on March 17, 2014, highlights that some changes were made after printing the first prototype, such as opening up the slot for the slide and shifting the groove for the lid. Despite these issues, the print quality was great. On March 18, 2014, an updated version (version 2b) of the assembly was uploaded but not fully tested yet. A 5-slide version was designed on June 11, 2015, with numbers for labeling slide descriptions, and a minimum Z clearance of 2 mm for each slide surface. It is crucial to note that this design has not been tested yet, and printing is at the user's own risk. Print and assemble instructions are provided for the updated version.
