Microscope Slide Box

Microscope Slide Box

thingiverse

Small storage container designed to hold twenty-five individual or fifty back-to-back slides. Constructed primarily from 2mm and 3mm thick plywood, with a 2mm thick craft foam lining the base secured by wood glue. Not specifically created for a particular application, I was experimenting with new 2mm plywood stock I had acquired and opting to use glue instead of captive fasteners to assemble the components. The plans provide guidelines for material thicknesses to be used on specific parts, the 3mm spacer at the rear of the container allows sufficient clearance around the lip to insert the slides into the box.
