Mount a USB4000 Ocean Optics Spectrophotometer with a collimating lens to a standard Nikon camera microscope mount for easy fluorescent emission and transmission data collection. The design is created in OpenSCAD based on the specifications available at http://www.oceanoptics.com/. To assemble, print the attachment, attach it with a bolt through the small hole, and place it in the camera slot. Ensure you use dark opaque plastic for printing or seal with a marker to prevent stray light if your microscope isn't in a darkroom. Adjust the camera focus tube for optimal spectrophotometer signal.
