Microscope Lens Bumper and Smoke Protection I bought this wonderful microscope back in the fall. Everything about it is wonderful, and the height from the table and the resolution of the seven-inch screen and the long battery life, and the picture quality saved on the TF card or video is also excellent, convenient three-sided lighting and other goodies such as remote control, and also it works completely without delay ... And everything would be fine if not for working with a soldering iron... One way or another, it is not always possible to keep track of where the hand with the soldering iron is moving due to the very high magnification, and inadvertently you can damage the plastic lens housing. And the soldering smoke itself is not very good for the lens. Therefore, several things were bought, with the help of which this little problem was completely solved. A 28-30mm threaded adapter ring and a UV filter completely solved the issue. The only thing left to do is to design a threaded plastic adapter ring - and there are no more problems. In general, there is nothing more to write, if you have such a microscope and swing a soldering iron near it - I recommend ... Important: in view of the fact that the adapter ring has a thread with a pitch of 0.75mm - print at a speed of up to 45mm a layer of 0.1mm.
