Microscope for FDM Printing
thingiverse
I originally designed it to be laser cut, but I've significantly modified the design so it can be 3D printed while maintaining the distinctive look of the laser cut model. As a warning, the model features a large number of parts (approximately 90), many of which are quite small in size. Assembly can be a formidable challenge, particularly with the gear train, which surprisingly functions effectively. I've included a detailed PDF that outlines where each part belongs and provides a step-by-step assembly sequence. Since I derive great pleasure from assembling models as much as printing them, this project was an ideal fit for my skills and interests.
