UPDATE 10/04/2018 - Many were having trouble finding the 45mm print cooling fan, but it's now easily accessible here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/192504964606?ss. UPDATE 08/01/2018 - A Step-by-Step Build Instructions PDF file and another picture have been added to help with the build process. UPDATE 06/01/2018 - Assembly Instruction Video #3 has been added, and the BOM Screw Count has been updated for better accuracy. The MicroRAP 100 is a compact desktop 3D Printer designed to minimize desktop footprint while maintaining a respectable print build envelope of 100mm x 100mm x 100mm. The plywood frame can be easily cut using many smaller, homemade CNC mills such as the MPCNC and Root2CNC. Use 1/4" or 6mm wood for all wooden components. The print results are exceptional, thanks to its use of the E3D v6, E3D lite6, or Chinese v6 clone type hotends. The build surface is a small chunk of acrylic with three holes drilled in it and painters tape placed on top (or any other material you prefer). For added convenience, you can use the BLTouch to G29 autolevel it. The files included are an improved version of what's seen in the pictures, using printed connectors and M3 nuts/screws to secure the frame. A complete and itemized bill of materials is also included, detailing every last screw needed for the build. This printer has been used successfully in a build-your-own 3D printer class at yakimamakerspace.org. There are assembly instructional videos available, with three completed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFLvEt0uwdI&t=14s; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHWm2s4ASvs; and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqHEd3FNkzA. Thanks for trying it out! COMING SOON: MicroRAP 200 with full-sized heated bed capacity. Check out the prototype in action here: https://youtu.be/4t9eIk2gnUA.
