Small Quadcopter for Indoor and Outdoor Flying with Brushed Motors This compact quadcopter uses brushed motors to provide a stable and efficient flight experience both indoors and outdoors. The unique design features tilted motors that are angled forward by 15 degrees, keeping the frame horizontal even during fast forward flights. The frame is specifically designed to accommodate small flight controllers with a maximum footprint of 30x20mm. Alternatively, you can use separate receivers or opt for flight controllers with integrated receivers. A sturdy stand is included for easy flight controller calibration and can also be used for takeoff. The total weight of the quadcopter, including all equipment except the battery, is a mere 45 grams. The firmware PID settings are optimized for exceptional performance: Roll at 80/30/44, Pitch at 80/30/44, and Yaw at 185/45/0. The roll rate, pitch rate, and yaw rate are set to 0.8, 0.8, and 0.5 respectively. To assemble the quadcopter, you will need a few additional materials: four M2x5 screws, velcro tape with adhesive for battery mounting, double-sided foam tape for FC/RX mounting, CA glue or acetone for assembling the upper deck and bulkhead, and a 1.5mm carbon fiber rod for landing gear. The quadcopter is equipped with high-performance components, including Racerstar 8520 8.5x20mm 53500RPM Coreless Motors, QR Ladybird-Z-01 propellers, and an SP Racing F3 EVO For Micro FPV Frame flight controller. The power source is a 1S Lipo 650mAh battery. For FPV enthusiasts, the quadcopter comes with an Eachine TX03 NTSC Super Mini 0/25mW/50mW/200mW Switchable AIO 5.8G 72CH VTX 600TVL 1/3 Cmos FPV Camera and a Jeti Duplex R5L EX receiver (with shortened antennas) paired with a Jeti DC-16 transmitter. The ABS components were printed using the default Prusa print profile.
