microphone support hexagonal v 2.0 as an assembly set

For a friend in need, I created a custom part for someone who's a seasoned pro at making video documentaries. A sturdy socket dominates the entire assembly (microphone and holder). Actual mounts are round by design, requiring elastic strips to secure the microphone head perfectly in the middle. But why round? Not necessary! I opted for a hexagonal approach instead. I refined my design with a second version. Initially, the first version was printed as a single piece, but it proved weak on the z-axis. To address this issue, I created two separate parts: two hexagonal pieces and three slides to provide added rigidity. To assemble these parts, you'll need to connect the hexagonal components with their hooks facing outward and the slides running along the sides. A small amount of epoxy glue can be used to strengthen the connection between the hexagonal parts and the slides. Froggy
