For a friend that needed such a part. A former movie professional which was realizing video documentaries.

A hairy socket comes over tje whole assembly (microphone and holder).

Actual mount are round. and you have to use elastic strips to hang the microphone head in the middle. However no need to get it round.
Here I made it hexagonal.

I did this 2nd version.

However, first version as a signle piece printed alltogether Turns out to be not so strong on the z axis.

There you need two hexagonal part to be printed.
you need two slides to be printed (on the longest edge for rigidity purpose on the side)
and one main slide with the two hexagonal holes on the side.

also beeing printed on the longest edge side

assemble the two hexagonal part with the hooks facing outside and the 3 slides running on the side.

I suggest using a bit of epoxy glue to strengthen the assembly. on the connection point between heaxgonal parts and slides.

Froggy
Category: Audio
