This adapter is designed to connect the small 3/8"-16 screw found on microphone stands to the larger 5/8"-27 screw used by most microphone holders. A high-quality metal adapter would be ideal, but if time is limited and an adapter is needed, this will suffice. To ensure maximum stability, I've increased the wall thickness to five layers to achieve a "100% infill" effect. I've also applied a horizontal expansion of -0.15 mm to create a smooth thread, a value that works well with my printer; however, you should find your own optimal setting and exercise caution when inserting the adapter into the microphone holder to avoid applying excessive force. [EDIT] I've updated the design by cutting two sides of the external screw to facilitate removal from the tripod in case any issues arise.
