Microphone Shock Mount
thingiverse
The Microphone Shock Mount I designed for my students features a threaded end allowing attachment to a painter's pole or broom handle as a homemade boom. Printed using ABS on our Replicator, it has the following settings: infill 10, layer height .25, single shell, feedrate 45, travel feedrate 80, nozzle temp 227, and bed temp 120. It uses six 2" elastic bands for microphone holding and a #8 bolt with nut (to be replaced soon). Future enhancements include a captive nut and thumbwheel.
