Microphone Shield

Microphone Shield

thingiverse

I've created these components to develop an acoustic shield for my microphone. Comparable productions are costly. However, with this design, you only need to purchase two sheets of 30x30 cm foam. A dozen sheets on eBay cost $20. You'll only require two of them though. The original equivalent costs at least $50, while some items have a price tag of up to $400. In my design, the original one will be attached to the stand, and I've included two solutions for attaching it to the rod that also supports the microphone or directly sticking it to the microphone itself. I preferred the first solution because although the entire setup isn't excessively heavy, there's a possibility that some vibrations might be transferred to the microphone. You can find images of both solutions assembled in the attached photos. Please share your thoughts.
