Microphone / PA stand base
prusaprinters

Base of the microphone stand. This base is used also for PA stand. Just add tubes, bolts, nuts, and piece of rubber.

Brake is part of source code. Divide it from the main body in the code or use "Split to objects" in slicer (Slic3r). Glue a rubber to the brake so it breaks much better. Break hull accepts hexagonal nut. You can change it to squared nut in the code.

Print instructions

Category: Music Print Settings

Rafts: No

Supports: Yes

Notes:

Model includes simple support. One layer thick support is easy to remove and helps with print a lot.

If the legs have big diameter (e.g. 20 or more), use supports (on built plate only) to catch the bridges. Otherwise, bridges (and few layers above) fall down a little during printing and lift up a lot during cooling. The upper layers will then hit the nozzle. This is a must for printers without springs in the bed (Prusa etc.).
