Microphone Flag
thingiverse
A microphone flag, suitable for use with common handheld interview mics like Shure Beta 58A, is provided. It can be modified to accommodate various logos or names due to its OpenSCAD file design. Additional STL files are included for those who prefer not to work with OpenSCAD. For printing, the flags are positioned atop the platform, though this may involve considerable overhang. However, the inner part of the overhang, concealed within the flag, won't affect quality as it remains hidden. If required, users can edit the SCAD file to print the top plate upside down without support material. After printing, a snugly fitting foam piece (preferably dark grey) should be inserted into the flag and a hole cut for the microphone, ensuring a tight fit. The dimensions of the flag are specified in mm, making it straightforward to customize based on existing stickers featuring logos.
