Microphone color band

Color-coded mic identifiers add a stylish touch to live performances. Originally conceived as a convenient alternative to using colored tape on stage mics, these colorful collars have become a design-driven necessity. Carefully crafted to fit perfectly around standard issue Shure SM58 mics and Sennheiser SKP 100 wireless transmitters, this precision-designed mic identifier provides both a secure grip and improved visual differentiation between different audio sources. Designers specifically opted for an intentionally snug "ring cover" design to ensure the threaded ring it protects remains easy to turn even when the microphone is being manipulated. An exception to this universal fit is required due to the distinct taper shape of the Shure SM48, prompting the development of a specialized identifier available in the file titled "SM48 collar.stl".
