Microphone Boom Arm Bushing for Impact Superclamp
prusaprinters
I recently moved and couldn't find the mounting clamp to affix my Neewer microphone boom arm to my desk. Rather than pay for a new one when I knew the original would turn up at some point, I decided to use a spare Impact Superclamp I had lying around to mount the mic arm for now! I whipped up this quick hexagonal bushing that would allow the mic arm to fit in the clamp securely.Printed in PETG using solid infill, it's tight enough to not allow play but still allows the arm to rotate a bit as needed. I move the arm up and down pretty regularly and it's holding up fine. The hole in the center is 12.8mm across, you may need to adjust this a bit if you have a different mic arm.Neewer mic arm: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T44VVGF/Impact Superclamp: https://www.impactstudiolighting.com/product/2709/Impact-CC_106R-Super-Clamp-with-Ratchet-HandleThis should work fine with the Manfrotto Superclamp, too! But I haven't tested it as all I have are the Impact versions.
