Microphone Bar Mount
thingiverse
This is a microphone mount that is made to mount to a 30mm vertical bar. More specifically i made it to mount to my dual monitor stand. The stand for my PC microphone is too tall and sits in between my monitors and blocks the time and date in the one corner so i designed this to sit on the pole that my dual monitor mount has and be able to mount it lower than the 3 leg stand that the mic comes with. It requires 4 #8 nuts and 4 1'' long, 1/8'' machine screws. I used the thumb screw and nut that came with the mic to attach it to the old stand and designed the new mount to accept the same screw and nut. UPDATE: In V2 i removed the cable management clip because it was too thin and broke easily. UPDATE: I posted separate files for the arm and the back side of the bar mount so that you can print the back side mount with a brim. The arm should not need a brim if you have good build plate adhesion since the supports will give it decent surface area on the build plate. Printing: -0.15 layer height (can use 0.2 but 0.15 gives better quality in the slots for the nuts) -205/60 -20% infill cubic -supports touching build plate -brim or raft if printing all at once -if printing separately only use brim or raft for back bar mount piece show me them makes and remixes! PS: i have a file for just the bar mount piece to be used to design anything that needs to be attached to a 30mm bar.
