I've grown tired of auto leveling's tediousness, and my experience with business card "feeler gauge" leveling methods has been limited. As a numbers-driven individual, I created a custom mount to hold a dial indicator for machining purposes. This device sits atop the print head rails, providing a precise measurement of the bed's surface. By sliding the carriage back and forth, one can easily detect front-to-back variance. Similarly, moving from one side of the bed to the other reveals variance in that direction. With this setup, I've managed to achieve an impressive .002" accuracy (considering my BuildTak has inherent thickness variations). Consequently, I'm now able to print large projects across the entire build plate without encountering issues. I'll post some accompanying pictures later. Good luck!
