Micromatch IDC crimper Adapter
prusaprinters
I wanted to make a quick disconnect cable for my MK4 in the original enclosure, but since the ribbon cable comes pre-split from Prusa making my own seemed like a good idea with some more standard IDC connectors at the midpoint. Micromatch (which is what is used on the xLCD cable) is too small to use in most crimpers. So I made my own adapter. Contains a slot for the polarizing leg into to make crimping easier.PETG recommended but not required. No SupportsWorks with 24 pin, should work with any micromatch smaller, and some larger. The slot is placed such that a 24-pin micromatch is neatly centered in the jaws of my specific crimper.Step file included in case your crimpers need a shorter or taller adapter.
