The Micromake Kossel Deploys a Fan Strategically to Counter Heat Issues. A Fan Attached at a Moderate Distance from the Extruder Successfully Regulates Temperature. The Resulting Cooling System Performs Efficiently for PLA Prints, But Struggles with ABS as It Overcompensates and Interferes with Adhesion on the First Layer. Furthermore, Using This Design Causes Issues When Printing in PLA, Specifically When Your End Effector Malfunctions Due to Inadequate Cooling from the Extruder. A Proportionate Adjustment was Implemented recently by Modifying the 40mm Stock Fan which Integrates with Two Well-Sized Nubs and an Adaptation at the Key Hole Allows for it to Work Harmoniously in Sync with the Lowest Fin on the Extruder, Effectively Maintaining Desired Settings and Efficiency while Addressing Concerns Regarding the First Layer of Printing in PLA and ABS.
