Micromake Delta Upgrades

Micromake Delta Upgrades

These are some upgrades I've made for my Micromake D1 delta printer. First, two overhanging spoolholders were added corresponding to 1Kg and 450g spools (nylon is a good example). They work perfectly! Secondly, a bed holder was adapted to the micromake D1. This is a remix that I modified so it wouldn't block the printer head on the periphery of the bed. Four of them were installed, two up and two down. You can use the extra screws from the kit (short M3s and M4s) for this purpose. It will give you the ability to remove the glass bed in just 2 seconds to change the rubber or take off a print. Thirdly, a simple wire bearing was added for the printer head to attach the wires regardless of the PFE tube. I use mirror double-sided rubber to secure it. Prints best with 0.2 layer and 15-20% infill to ensure rigidity, PLA is recommended. Repetier Host version 1.6.2 runs this printer smoothly. Unfortunately, the latest version 2.0.1 doesn't work well with it.
