MicroLR – Matek SAM-M8Q Trunk and Micro Cam Mounts
thingiverse
Thanks to Dave for sharing the frame. In support, I'm sharing these models for you guys. Matek SAM-M8Q GPS trunk mount sits below the prop line. Print the file vertically with full support. The GPS module has a snug fit while the standoff mounts are tighter. I recommend heating (carefully with a butane torch) the TPU a bit before pushing in the standoffs. Shorter camera mounts for micro FPV cams help keep the front frame/standoffs from being in the HD image. There are two versions: v1 and v2, each with its own design. I made the v2 to completely eliminate props in view on the Split Mini 3. The mini LR frame is paired with an Rcinpower 1207 5k kv motor. The HGLRC 16mm stack provides a solid foundation for the setup. A RushFPV VTX brings the signal, while a Split v3 and Matek SAM-M8Q GPS module provide navigation. Mini-Ion and TBS Nano RX complete the system. 2s and 3s batteries are used to power the quad. It weighs in at 140 grams when dry weighted. With a 950mah 2s lipo, I'm getting about 11 minutes of flight time. However, low throttle oscillation is an issue, so I'm focusing on tuning before sending it out. Rip these prints and get them airborne, dudes!
