This innovative device is a compact and versatile holder and dispenser of standard size playing cards. Playing cards are often overlooked as a source of entertainment during traveling, but they offer endless possibilities for games such as gin rummy, blackjack, and solitaire. As a result, they provide both great fun and excellent icebreaker capabilities. However, in space where gravity is absent, keeping the deck organized becomes a challenge. This clever design solves that problem by holding together a standard deck of cards for easy storage and drawing. In total, you will need: x1 Case; this essential component must be included. x1 Blank; although not required, it's highly recommended to prevent damage to the cards and ensure smooth card feeding when the deck runs low. A few rubber bands; these are necessary, with one or two moderately weak bands sufficient in normal gravity and one band doing the trick in microgravity. Assembly is straightforward: place the deck into the case so that the backing of the outermost card faces the cross on one side. If desired, position the Deck Feed part over the entire exposed side of the deck. Wrap the rubber band(s) around the center of the case, allowing them to settle into the slots and press the deck against the top of the case. The images in the gallery should clarify any unclear steps, making it easy to draw cards from the case with relative ease. The cards will slide out above the angled cuts when drawn, and Velcro may be attached as desired. Orientation is crucial: position the Case part so that the cross aligns with the build plate, allowing the angled sections to form a 60-degree angle from the build plate. This must be done to prevent supports from being required. Print Settings: Supports: Off Raft/Brim: Recommended but not necessary Fill Density: 20% Shell thickness: 0.8 mm EDIT: January 12, 2017 - This design also accommodates Magic: The Gathering Cards.
