A centrifuge file is solely for information purposes; don't use it to create a dangerous machine. To save money, this individual crafted a rotor compatible with an RC motor (.25" diameter mounting hole, suited for an exceed-rc rocket series 86MA08 brushless motor). It holds eight 1.5ml microtubes at a 55-degree angle. The design software is Geometric Design (previously known as Alibre Design), allowing customization of shaft sizes. Revision 1 increased the angle to 55 degrees. For printing, place the flat side down on high resolution settings without supports; note that the STL is exported in mm but designed in inches.
