MicroDelta Rework Mounting Bracket/Spacer for E3D Titan Extruder
thingiverse
I crafted a bespoke mounting bracket specifically tailored for the remarkable Titan extruder from E3D. This custom design is perfect for the MicroDelta Rework printer, skillfully engineered by eMotion Tech. The bracket boasts four screw holes for secure attachment to the printer, but due to the top plate's limitation of three holes, only three can be utilized effectively. The space between the motor and extruder measures precisely 2.5mm. Although this exceeds the minimum recommended 2mm spacing advised by E3D, it functions admirably and lends additional robustness to the part. **It is essential to tap the small screw holes after printing** (you will need to drill them out). To optimize your extruder's performance, I calibrated my steps/mm to **418.8**, which serves as a suitable starting point for your calibration process. Furthermore, you'll need to reverse the motor direction by appending an exclamation mark to the value in this format: `extruder.hotend.dir_pin 0.4!`.
