MicroCube GT2 belt version attempt (failed)
thingiverse
I'm sharing my files if anyone wants to take another shot, sorry no documentation as my experiments ended in failure. The rigidity of the frame/carriage wasn't sufficient and everything just wobbled around. Printing it at a slower pace didn't help, it just wobbles slower now. Check out the video at https://youtu.be/ufwftvI2GNM You'll need to raise the y-carriage (I tried using meshmixer) and add a belt tensioning system to the x-carriage (I designed one with openSCAD), then attach geared pulleys to the motors and swap out the bearings for normal ones, not the grooved kind.
