The sticky velcro on the back of my gecko's Microclimat Evo kept falling off, so I decided to make a mounting bracket for the LCD.

Based o a cleat the top piece screws in to the back of the LCD in pace of the original screws. The back screws on to the side of the viv using computer fan screws. a 5mm magnet holds the LCD in place making it quick and easy to remove.

No special print settings are needed. I used 2 perimeters, 10% infill.

you will also need

2 X 5mm dia 10mm long computer fan screws

1 X 5mm dia 3mm thick magnet

4 X 3mm dia (M3) 16mm long self tapping screws.

The touch screen can stop working or record touches when nothing has happened, if the screws on the back of the LCD are too tight or if the mounting plate buckles because the holes are too close or far away. The slots help resolve this problem. If not try scaling the print a little.

I've added a second base design so that it is adjustable once attached to the side of a viv.
