Microbit Robot Head
thingiverse
As a primary teacher, I sought out a straightforward way to introduce my younger students to the Microbit. To achieve this goal, I designed and developed a simple robot head that fits snugly over the top of the microbit, allowing children to program the LEDs to function as a mouth. I've provided both a paper copy and digital files - STL and SKP - for download. Some pupils preferred to decorate their prints rather than create them from scratch! Printing on A4 paper ensures a perfect size, making it an ideal project for students designing their own remix of the 3D model. To facilitate further creativity, I've included both SKP and STL files, enabling users to remix the robot head with their pupils. As long as the three holes remain intact, anything goes! I look forward to seeing innovative remixes created by you or your students!
