Microbit Controller
thingiverse
This controller case is designed for the BBC Microbit. It holds a AAA battery pack and the Microbit securely in place. Fitting well and feeling comfortable in my big hands, it's a great design. Perfect for creating a remote control for cars, vehicles or cameras using the radio feature between two Microbits, or as an extension to standalone on-screen games. Made with flexible type filament, the microbit and battery pack are held firmly in position by flexible form. Standard ABS and PLA may not work well, or require alteration, due to this design choice. I'd be happy to share the Fusion file for this model upon request. Created in both TPE and Flex PLA, it's essential to use a low fill amount - 15% to 25% - to maintain flexibility. A wall thickness of 2mm is recommended. Supports are necessary due to the lack of flat sides. Printing it top side up can help with support removal, as flexible filament support can be challenging to clean with a single extruder. Enjoy using this controller case!
